He becomes one of the central figures of “Conceptual Art” in the 1960’s, his work often taking the form of typographic texts. Weiner formulated his “declaration of intent” in 1968.

He works in a wide variety of media including videos, films, books, sound art, sculpture, performance art and graphic art.
