Born in 1971 in Constantine (Algeria).
Lives and works in Paris (France). He is a French artist of Algerian origin, who uses several techniques including drawing, video, sculpture, and installation. Emerging on the art scene around 2000, his work responds to the convulsive movements of the contemporary world, reflecting its energy and violence through powerful representations. Drawing references from literature and art, both ancient and modern, breaking taboos, he engages in a dialogue with materials (barbed wire, dynamite, cannabis resin, marble, etc.) to invent, through installations, sculptures, and videos, his own interpretation of the violence and poetry of the world. From "punch" works, to Zidane's famous "Headbutt" to Materazzi, frozen in bronze.
