Alberto Guzmán

Born in 1927 in Talara (Peru). Died in 2017 in Nogent-sur-Marne (France).

A Parisian sculptor of Peruvian origin, he settled in Paris following a scholarship offered by France in 1960 and exhibited his work in various biennials across Europe. Alongside his work as a sculptor, as evidenced by several monumental works for the city, as well as fountains, he created jewelry, furniture, and theater sets.

He miniaturized his sculptural forms into gold and silver jewelry. Always unique, his jewelry is a theater of the play of light and the ambiguity of reflections achieved by polishing bronze and stones.
