Bill Beckley

Born in 1946 in Hamburg (United States). Lives and works in New York.

Born near Philadelphia in a Hamish community.
He defines himself as a conceptual and narrative artist. His first photographs were presented in 1970 in the first conceptual art exhibition in the United States.

Living and working in New York since the early 1970s, he was part of the group of conceptual artists who used images and texts to create what was called Narrative Art.
A close friend of the artists of the New York scene (Nauman, Flavin, LeWitt, Acconci, Le Ba, Oppenheim, etc.), he also exhibited in European galleries in Paris and Düsseldorf.
His first experience as a jewelry artist was produced by the Friedman Benda Gallery in 2014.
