Fernand Léger

Born in 1881 in Argentan, died in 1955 in Gif-sur-Yvette (France)

Fernand Léger was a painter alongside Sonia Delaunay, Alexandre Archipenko, and Jacques Lipchitz.
In 1910, he exhibited with Picasso and Braque in the gallery of art dealer Daniel-Henry Kahnweiler.

It was only in the 1950s that he designed a metal enamel brooch.
It was derived from the shapes and motifs of his paintings, with his usual predominant colors of yellow, red, blue, and green.
