Man Ray

Born in 1890 in Philadelphia (United States), died in Paris (France) in 1976.

A pioneer, along with Marcel Duchamp and Picabia, of the most radical movement in modern art, which, from Dada to Surrealism, has pervaded the entire field of visual arts up to the present day,
Man Ray contributed greatly, through his polymorphic work: paintings, objects, assemblages, photographs, and films, to broadening the horizons and consciousness of painters.
He settled in Paris for thirty years in the Montparnasse district.
