Marios Voutsinas

Born in 1953 in Paris (France). Lives and works in Athens (Greece).

After spending time in the United States and Paris, this Greek artist devoted himself to jewelry making (1974). Starting his own studio in Athens in 1979, he became involved in the visual arts and pursued a career as a designer, sculptor, and producer of sculptural objects, using a variety of materials such as handmade shells, lace, silver and bronze bows, semi-precious stones, mother-of-pearl, porcelain, and even antique crystal. He has exhibited extensively in Greece, Europe, and the United States, and also works with the Benaki Museum in Athens (the same museum that exhibited the jewelry collection "Artists' Jewelry: From Picasso to Jeff Koons" in 2011).
