Mimmo Paladino

Born in 1948 in Paduli (Italy). Lives and works between Paduli and Milan.

Painter and sculptor, he is one of the leading representatives of the "Transavantgarde," an Italian movement founded by Achille Bonito Oliva in 1980. He was an alternative to the avant-garde, advocating a return to painting after the conceptual and minimalist movements of the 1970s.

Paladino's curiosity for the magical world, which he has always encountered, is evident in his often strange paintings, where the Renaissance blends with African masks.

This bracelet, produced with the Elisabetta Cipriani Gallery, is a collaboration with his architect friend Massimiliano Fuksas.
