Pablo Picasso

Born in 1881 in Malaga (Spain), died in 1973 in Mougins (France).

A major artist of the 20th century.
Along with Georges Braque, he founded the Cubist movement and participated in Surrealism.

A painter, sculptor, and ceramist, he created his first pieces of jewelry for Dora Maar in 1936 (terracotta, painted or engraved pebbles, etc.).
In the 1960s, he collaborated with François Hugo to design around thirty pieces of gold jewelry, all signed and produced in very limited editions.
