Victor Vasarely

Born in 1906 in Pécs (Hungary), died in 1997 in Paris (France).

As a student in Budapest, he became interested in the work of Josef Albers.
He drew inspiration from this to develop his own style, incorporating constructivist and kinetic concepts.
The only jewelry pieces Vasarely produced were editions with Circle Fine Art in the mid-1980s.
Their number remained very small, as the company quickly went bankrupt.
This "JOLIE" bracelet and matching earrings are made of silver, decorated with black enamel and mother-of-pearl.
