Wim Delvoye

Born in 1965 in Wervik (Belgium)

An atypical neo-conceptual artist, he constantly asks numerous questions about society, while giving the impression of casting a derisive eye on it.

His work is full of contradictions, and his often shocking modes of expression reveal a preoccupation with human behavior.
In 2011, he created his first piece of jewelry, all of whose elements are inseparable.
Delvoye uses a distorted image of Christ on the cross in his rings, as in his sculpture Jesus Twisted (2006).
