Jean Boghossian

Born in Aleppo in 1949, he is a Lebanese painter and sculptor of Armenian descent and a Belgian citizen based in Brussels and Monaco.

He is one of the few artists to experiment, applying fire and smoke to create works on paper, canvas, or any other unexpected material.
He is the President of the Boghossian Foundation. Its aim is to bring East and West closer together through art and culture and completely renovated the Villa Empain in Brussels in 2010.
He created his first piece of jewelry as an artist (the Boghossian family is so well known for its fine jewelry creations) for Diane Venet and her exhibition of artist jewelry at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco in 2021.
