Born in 1971 in Athens (Greece).
Alexandros Nikolaidis, son and grandson of a diamond setter and a jeweler, had his first contact with jewels at the age of thirteen, initially through engraving and later diamond setting, which he practiced until the age of 31. Having briefly worked in Cyprus and the United Kingdom, he finally settled on the Greek island of Paros, where he could develop his talent for painting and sculpture. His pieces are influenced by the architecture of and the shipyards on the island. In 2014, he started – as a jewellery maker – integrating all these experiences in his work. His collaboration with Manos Koutsoufios, creates a new motion / statement in the domain of high art jewellery.
