Mimmo Paladino
Born in 1948 in Paduli (Italy). Lives and works between Paduli and Milan.

A painter and sculptor, in 1980, Paladino was associated by the critic Achille Bonito Oliva with the “Transavanguardia” painters Sandro Chia, Francesco Clemente, Enzo Cucchi and Nicola De Maria.

He rapidly developed an allegorical figurative style, drawing on imagery from Christianity and Classical mythology, while also being influenced by ancient Egyptian, tribal and modern art.
The Transavanguardia was largely an expressionist revival in opposition to the conceptual and minimalist years of the 70’s. This bracelet was done in collaboration with his friend architect Massimiliano Fuksas and Elisabetta Cipriani’s Gallery in London.
